To lead and manage the cargo sales and commercial strategy for Abu Dhabi, driving revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement in alignment with Etihad Cargo’s global vision. This role supports the Area Commercial Manager in executing regional strategies and acts as a key contributor to the UAE and GCC commercial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a robust sales plan for Abu Dhabi in line with Etihad Cargo’s
  • regional objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams across freight forwarders,
  • logistics providers, and key accounts including overseeing the regional global.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust commercial tactics accordingly.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of
  • customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and service-level commitments with strategic
  • partners.

 

Performance Management

  • Track and report on sales performance, revenue targets, and market penetration on weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with pricing, operations, and network planning teams to optimize cargo capacity and profitability.


Strategic Support

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Area Commercial Manager – UAE & GCC, contributing insights and recommendations to shape regional commercial direction.
  • Support the execution of Etihad Cargo’s long-term vision by aligning local initiatives with broader business goals.

 

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless cargo delivery and client experience.
  • Mentor Strategic (VIP) sales staff and contribute to a high-performance culture.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
